So... I started cranking again to find him riding slo after second corner. I must to put a small mark on his legs then ;)
Success !!! :D
At the next junction we split the ways. He turned left, I turned right and that was it. I got a small reminder to never underestimate the opponent. Fair play for the big fella!.
As I said before I had to take it easy for another while to fully recover. The day was beautiful and I wasn't in any rush anywhere. Enjoying the views, good music in my ears and a good weather I passed by a small trail centre where a small group of mountain-bikers was on the side of the parking lot.
Sun was shinning and the temperatures close to 15 degrees. Those guys where fully kitted in body armors and full face helmets (its not that kind of trail centre BTW ;) ) . Passing by I smiled and said hello just to be polite. We are all cyclist after all right ?
Guys throwed stinky eye at me as I was an alien! Inside I laughed but that got me thinking....
When Im on the road bike, say "hello" to hikers, runners or just passing by locals or turist. Everybody seams to say hello back, wave , smile, have a quick chat and all that shit. But theres some problem between road cyclist and mountai-bikers. Not all of the, but some of them. That hurt me a bit more as I'm a moutainbiker myself and I can tell You that the percieving of mountain bikers by other users of the mountains isn't that great. That should get us motiveted to get friendly with those users even more. Not throw stinky eyes at them!!!
Funny thing, when Im on the Road Bike about 90% of the people say that "hello" back. When on Mountain Bike, half of them or more try to ignore me as I woudn't be even there. Crazy world eh ? We are all the same people so just try to be more friendly to each other :)
Ok, ok... I kept going toward my half way point where I usually stop for a quick sandwich , water refuel and small stretch. Got there , done that. On my way back noticed two ladies in a middle of nowhere and - I mean nowhere! Not even a telephone signal - sitting on the side of the road in their car. By side of the road I mean literally side ot the road cause they went into a dich. Straigh road with a very gentle corner. You could probably hit it with 150km/h with no probs. So don't ask me how they did it but they did it and mangled the car doing so as they hit a metal pole and couple of bigger rock with the underside of their car. Luckly it was a rental so no big harm there. They seams to be ok as well just in small shock. I asked do they need a push back on the road. One of they replied that we need a plan. Just to give You an idea it was a two scenario sittuation . We could either reverse the car back to the road that was less then 10m away or mogve forward on more uneven ground by the same distance. Couple more passing by drivers stopped to offer the help so we managed to perswaid the lady driver to get behind the wheel and get going WITHOUT the PLAN ;D
Car wouldn't start so I left the scene as I couldn't help anymore. Some couple offered them a lift to nearby town for them to call renting company as there was no reception at the spot.
I kept goin enjoing the views and all of that , thinking they day cant get any more crazy then that. I was wrong !
To my big surprise I noticed two small trees dressed as christmas tree. End of March in the middle of nowhere that is :D did quick few shots and got going again just to find out another one couple hundred meters further down the road.
Ended my spin with burning quads thinking I shoudn't race the guy in the morning :D
Overall 10/10 kind of day.
At the end I will throw a small photo of the my bike. Without it those trips wouldn't be possible. Radon full of Shimano, Sram, Mavic, Lizard Skin, Vaude, Elite and Schwalbe goodies :) I love it !
Keep cranking ;)

How often the stress level at work put Your mood down ? Once a week ? Twice a week ? Ye, I know it , its every day. Don't worry , same here. We are not privileged enough like some lucky ones. We have to work from 8 to 5 , so lowering our stress levels is very important. Without it, it will just cumulate untill a very funny video of You having a brake down will be uploaded and viewed by milions on YouTube ;)
Now its time have a nice dinner and end the day without any regrets, knowing theres another day coming tomorrow. Something definitely to look forward to
I'll see You there ;)
